Meet The Team

Audrey Clements – Office Manager

Originally from Ocala, Florida, Audrey started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant when she was in high school. She worked her way up to working at the front desk and then to office manager. She moved to this area in 1992 due to her husband’s military transfer. She has worked at Yulee Family Dentistry since 1999.  She is involved with the American Association of Dental Office Managers and has received her FAADOM, MAADOM and DAADOM distinctions thru them. She is the Co-President of the local DPLN Chapter. She is also a member of a local jeep club.

Family time is her favorite. She enjoys spending time with husband, son, granddaughter, friends and her Labradoodle Koko. When not in the office you can find her on the water boating with her husband. She also enjoys camping and anything Jeep related.

Phyllis Oakes – Patient Care Coordinator

Phyllis received her Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Certification in 2003 and has been in the dental field ever since, starting as a chairside assistant working her way up to be our treatment plan and financial coordinator. She is passionate about dentistry and helping our patients attain a healthy and beautiful smile. She is a member of the local DPLN chapter, as well as a lifetime member of AADOM and is currently continuing her education and working to achieve her Fellowship through AADOM.

Phyllis is a long-time resident of Nassau County, currently residing in Hilliard on “the farm”, where she enjoys raising chickens and goats with her husband, daughter and dogs, Gadget and Moose. When they are not busy at home you can catch them at the Motocross track. Phyllis is also very active with her daughters 4H club, serving as co-leader. She also loves watching spooky movies, listening to true crime, history and paranormal podcasts, reading, crocheting, spa days with friends and spending time with her family.

CHELSEA McRAE – Patient Care Coordinator

Chelsea was born and raised outside of Gainesville FL. She received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate from Bartram Dental Assisting School in November of 2023. After her externship, she joined our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. She is passionate about building relationships with our patients and helping them achieve the smile they love.

When not in the office you can find Chelsea spending time with her fiancé, daughter and fur babies. She loves to be outdoors where she can swim, fish, kayak or hike.

Jinny Holton – Patient Care Coordinator

Jinny started her career in family dentistry in 2011 and joined Yulee Family Dentistrycin 2024. She has over 13 years’ experience as a Patient Care Coordinator. She greets patients with her warm smile and vivacious personality.

She is married with 2 children and four babies. She loves spending time with family and friends as well as camping, off road riding (mudding) and traveling.

Jean Cooper, RDH – Dental Hygienist

As a dental hygienist, it is no surprise that Jean is passionate about oral health and educating our patients on how to stay healthy so they can truly enjoy life!

Originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida, Jean earned her hygiene degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2006. She also earned certification to administer local anesthesia in 2014 at the University of Florida. Jean has been with us for 17 years and has a great relationship with both patients and the members of our team.

Spending time with family is important. Her two daughters, Darien and Baylee, keep Jean and her husband, Tim, busy. In the summertime, they enjoy camping and outings in their boat.

Danielle Thompson, RDH – Dental Hygienist

Danielle began working at Yulee Family Dentistry in 2019. She attended Florida State College at Jacksonville where she earned her degree in dental hygiene and license to administer local anesthesia in 2016.

Danielle enjoys educating patients in all areas of their oral health and promoting full body wellness through proper oral care. She loves getting to know our patients and strives to ensure they always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. To her, there’s nothing more gratifying than helping patients overcome their dental fears and keeping them smiling and healthy for a lifetime.

Outside the office, Danielle likes to spend quality time with her friends and family. She also enjoys gardening and cooking. Danielle and her husband are active members of Exchange Church here in Yulee and have a passion for serving in the community.

Faith Douglas, RDH – Dental Hygienist

Faith has been in the dental field for 18 years. After high school she did not know what she wanted to do so she joined the Army. She worked as a dental assistant and loved dentistry. After several years as a dental assistant, she went back to school for Dental Hygiene. Her favorite part of her job is saving the world one smile at a time!

When she is not in the office, she enjoys time with her family riding motocross, Jujitsu and playing poker.

Tayler O’Quinn – Dental Hygienist

Tayler started working at Yulee Family Dentistry in 2020. She began her career as a dental assistant and decided to further her education to become a Dental Hygienist. Tayler graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville. Tayler’s goal is to ensure that every patient leaves feeling confident and cared for.

When Tayler is not at work, she likes looking for shark teeth, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her fur babies.

Faye Lucas – Dental Assistant

Faye joined Yulee Family Dentistry 20 years ago and she has been helping patients achieve better oral health ever since. Faye graduated from Concorde Career Institute, where she earned her certificate in dental assisting. As a Yulee, Florida native, Faye finds herself valuing long-term relationships in our community, both with our patients and our team.

Faye enjoys spending time with her husband of 42 years, her four grandchildren, and her dogs, Coco and Bruno. She is very involved with her church.

Stacey Gills – Dental Assistant

Stacey, originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida, came to us over 120 years ago as a graduate of Florida State College School of Dental Assisting. She loves working with patients and our team. Her true passion is helping people have comfortable, beautiful smiles.

When Stacey is away from the dental office, you can usually find her spending time with her family and her two granddaughters, Naomi and Sophia.  She also loves animals and has two dogs of her own that are very spoiled.

Christine Walkup – Dental Assistant

Originally from Fayetteville, NC, Christine has lived in Yulee since 2008. Christine graduated as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant from Concorde Career Institute in 2019 and has been in dentistry for three years.

As a newer member of the team, Christine has been with Yulee Family Dentistry for a little under a year. Christine is passionate about dentistry because she loves to help patients gain a more confident, beautiful smile.

When Christine is away from the office, you can find her spending time with her fiancé and son. She also enjoys baking cakes and traveling in her free time.

Ann Higginbotham – Dental Assistant

Ann grew up in North Dakota. She attended Bemidji Technical College and received her Dental Assisting Certificate. She spent 12 years in Montana when her husband was stationed there while in the Air Force. In 2012 he retired, and they moved back to his hometown of Hilliard, FL.

Getting to know our patients, building relationships, and helping them overcome their dental fears and anxieties is very important to Ann. She loves seeing someone happy with their smile.

Outside of the office Ann enjoys cooking, the beach and reading but family time is her favorite. Ann’s 3 children and 2 grandchildren as well as her family live in North Dakota, she enjoys traveling back home to see them. Since her family is so far away, she has 2 pups Stella and Sophie that she spoils.
